Stanozolol Injection 50mg/ml

COMPOSITION:

Each ml contains:

Stanozolol USP 50 mg

Water for Injection USP     q.s.

INDICATIONS:

 Stanozolol is indicated prophylactically to decrease the frequency and severity of attacks of angioedema.

CONTRAINDICATION:

The use of Stanozolol is contraindicated in the following:

1. Carcinoma of the prostate of breast in male patients.
2. Carcinoma of the breast in some females
3. Nephrosis or the nephritic phase of nephritis.
4. Hypercalcemia.
5. Stanozolol can cause fetal harm when administered to a pregnant women

If this drug is used during pregnancy or if the patient becomes pregnant while taking this drug, the patient should be apprised of the potential hazard to the foetus.

OVERDOSAGE:

 There have been no reports of acute overdosage with the androgens.

SIDE EFFECTS:

Adult or Adolescent Males: Too frequent or persistent erections of the penis, appearance of aggravation of acne.

Women: Hoarseness, acne changes in menstrual periods, or more hair on the face. All Patients: Any nausea, vomiting, changes in skin colour, or ankle swelling.

OVERDOSAGE:

There have been no reports of acute overdosage with the androgens.

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION:

Hereditary Angioedema: The dosage requirements for continuous treatment of hereditary angioedema with Stanozolol should be individualized on the basis of the clinical response of the patient.
